Fried ECU?
Passenger side front and back windows & locks do not work.
Quick history
Swapped out the ML speakers and amp recently.
Installed new alternator, 2nd battery, amps and speakers.
The interface from OEM to aftermarket is the Arc Audio PS8.
Everything was working fine for 3 days.
Had friend move my car down my drive way about 10 feet...he turned it off while in drive.
This did "something" to the "system".
Immediately a loud (3/4 volume) statics like a radio station two points past is exact freq) came on for all the speakers that were replaced.
The center channel was not part of the upgrade and did not have this same loud sound comeing from speakers.
This sound was constant whether the stereo was turned on or turned off.
I had to disconnect the battery to get it to stop.
I noted that the PS8 also reset to factory defaults (it should retain them even with no battery).
Any idea why shutting down while in dfrive would cause a loud sound coming from the system?
Pulling out the shelves to get to the ML amp this week and confirm wiring.
