Where to buy 3M 1080 CF wrap cheap?
I want to buy some CF wrap. Searched around and found the 3M 1080 to be the best product in my situation because it's 3M quality and it's supposedly much more user-friendly than the Di-Noc (considering I've never vinyl-ed)
I want to start small and practice on things at home + car interior
Then depends on whether my taste changes, possibly do the roof next summer
I've checked metrorestyling and for a 5x5 (25 sq.ft) piece is about $100
after shipping is about $142 USD.........possibly duty and brokerage at the door
Anywhere else you guys recommend?
Thanks

I bought 3m for my roof from them, first time I had used aerotect and that was harder to apply. I ended up redoing it bc one spot had wrinkled pretty bad and I was not able to fix it. The 3m has held up since through snow rain and a crazy wind storm. if you are using for the interior I say any cheap vinyl on ebay will do. If its exterior don't go cheap bc it won't hold up.
3m on my roof and grill surround and my roof spoiler. I had it on my exterior pillers but replaced it with carbon fiber overlays. 4th pic is the closest shot I have of my roof so you can kinda see how the 3m looks. I put it on last november and its held up fine since.

I got the 1080.The 1080 CF looks more like CF than the Di Noc as it is not as perfectly symmetrical as the Di Noc design.1080 is the newest product line and easier to work with than the Di Noc for larger areas. To be honest with you I do not know the specific measurements just bc I ordered extra for my friend as well and a little left over for me in case I ever needed to replace something. Measure your roof and make sure you get extra for height and width and when you cut make sure you cut a little extra bc it does shrink. Also get a can of this
