DRL lights on 2006 model?
Hi guys
As above really, i have a 2006 is250 MM and i have located some DRL 2012 headlights from Ebay, will these fit straight into my 2006 model or do i require any mods? im currently running HID at the moment

Sorry but i really am a NOOB when it comes to things like this.
i have a 2006 model with had halogen headlight from factory, does the 2012 come with xexon or halogen? i want to know if this will be an issue befoe i get the DRL headlights..

i apologies but i dont know anything about wiring/headlights/electronics! but do i disable before or after installing LED DRL?? or dont it matter??

It doesn't matter when you disable them. As mentioned, stock DRLs for halogen headlights are simply the high beam at a lower intensity. DRLs for the LED headlights are the actual LED strip. The wiring can't be setup to have the LEDs work exactly as the stock halogen headlights work, so as soon as you plug them in your car still thinks you have stock halogen headlights and will continue using your highbeams as DRLs unless you disable them. The LEDs on the other hand will never work as the DRLs they were intended to be. They'll either be on or off all the time.

One thing my garage keeper asked me was are the 2011 LED DRL that i want to get xexon? as mine are Halogen from factory....?

if so im not to fussed! rather it be that then have lexus disable it!?
