Nice car...

I also upgraded from the same 2004 model as your Civic... except mine was stock and Fiji Blue.

Depending on how low you wan to go. You can pick from Tein, F-Sport, Megans etc. I have Tein's H-Tech and the drop is conservative. Wish I would have just purchased coil overs in the first place.

I would just get coils. I think about this every time and come to the realization that I'm going to end with coils.

So I wait.

Nice upgrade! I had an EM2 couple years ago, this car is very much a gas guzzler in comparison. Go coilovers, the cost of buying and installing springs is only couple hundred dollars less than just going straight to coilovers since springs are more labor intensive.

I was thinking h &r but I don't know if it's too low. Just don't want the wheel gap. Ride on the coilover is stiff though. Looking for something with the same ride.

Coilovers won't make your ride stiff. It's actually the closest you'll get in having the same ride comfort/quality as stock suspension.

But if you prefer springs. You can choose between 2 of the most popular choices:

Road Magnet Springs... It's the one that lowers your car the most. 2 inches on all corners. It will definitely eliminate the fender gap. Search "road magnet"

H&R Sport.. quite popular and widely used by members. It lowers your car by 1.4 inches. You will still have at least 1-2 finger gap.

Coils overs dont make it ride stiff unless you get crazy spring rates, generally 10/8 or 12/10 or 9/9 etc are perfect for daily driving, some people even DD with 14/12 spring rates and not one person i've seen have complained about the ride being worse than stock (maybe some people have). I can tell you right now, coilovers will have better ride quality and better handling capabilities than aftermarket springs and stock shocks anyday.
