Crunching Sound From Front Wheel
My mom drives a 2010 IS250 and when she first got it she hit a curb pretty hard. It has been a while since I drove the car and today I detailed it for her and when I was driving I noticed every time the drivers side front wheel hit a bump it would make a very disturbing sound. The best way I could describe it would be a hollow crunching sound, almost a rattling. Im not too familiar with the working parts of a suspension so does anyone know what the problem could be? How much should she expect to pay to have it fixed?
Thanks

Sounds like either a ball joint or the strut. Could be damaged from hitting the curb. If you put the car on jackstands, you can kinda push/pull on the suspension components. If it's loose or clicks, then that's where the noise is coming from. But be careful not to rock the car off of the jackstands.
