Help please! Radio on but no sound!
Hi guys! I'm having problems with my stereo so did research online and some poking around on my car but was hoping to find a little more help from the forums if you guys have any suggestions or thoughts!
Basically, when I turn on my car there is no audio for anything (radio, CD player, auxiliary, or nav system). When I pulled up the diagnostic screen it showed this:
I checked all the fuses and they're good so I'm worried it's the amp.
Based on the error number it looks like the wire harness, speakers, or amp is not working properly: http://bahamutcars.free.fr/workshop/...1yqb003x.html#
I bought the car used and it looks like it's had problems in the past, but at this point I think the amp may be busted... From what I've read online and using the search tool this problem has come up for a number of people, though it seems like the Mark Levinson system has had the most issues. This is not a Mark Levinson unit but I believe it will still be an expensive repair (based on the replacement costs I've seen online) and might be time to bring it to the dealership unless you guys have any suggestions. Please let me know!
