My 19" LFA replica wheels
Hi All,
Long time reader of clublexus.com and this is my first post! For the last 6 months or so I've been thinking about trading in my '08 SFP IS350 for an IS-F but decided to freshen-up my 350 instead. As my daily driver and the ~28 mpg average fuel milage I get with the 350, it's hard for me to justify the IS-F expense at this point.
So anyway, I've been researching the 19" LFA style wheels available on eBay. Not much detail found on these so I figured screw it, I'll jump in with both feet. I ordered them from "bsd_direct" on eBay for $769.99 shipped. The color is listed as "Hyper Silver"; here are the specs:
F: 19x8.5-38mm: 25.5 lbs.
R: 19x9.5-38mm: 29.5 lbs.
The 18" stockers weigh 28.25 lbs.(F) and 30 lbs.(R) so not too bad for 19" and the price. The wheels were well packaged and the finish is quality:
I was surprised to see the wheels included Lexus knock-off center caps. I had already ordered silver OEM center caps so I won't be using them but they don't look too bad:
Here you can see the center cap comparison: knock-off on the left, OEM silver center cap installed in the wheel:
I'm planning 225/35-19 front and 255/35-19 rear tires. I've also got new F-Sport springs and front GFX lip to install and I'll post pics once she's rolling on these suckers!

The finish is two stage like the stock OE's it looks like???
The finish...the base is like a dark grey black and then topped with silver? The description is Hyper Silver i read but i'd ask for pics in out of the sun to be sure!
Hyper Silver is my favorite finish! Silver in sunny but Gunmetal in dark!
F-Sport Springs will set it off well.
Any brand tires in mind? What's your budget?
Smart man!! but hoping this economy go better so we can all refresh our daily ride to a IS-F!

I'm not going to go too crazy with tires. Likely Hankook V12's or Summitomo HTZ IIII. The finish does look OE-like. Here's an indoor pic from my kitchen floor (no camera flash):
