Nice! Love the new cutout of your headlamps. Now you can sell your stocks to make up for the extra one you purchased

Haha I actually may retrofit them and sell. Just not sure how much people would be willing to pay or if it's worth all the work. Thanks again for the headlights! I'll Give you a positive rating

Looks so worth it, good job man! I want to do this mod also in the near future but with a 35w kit, do you know what year TSX are those projectors from?

How much clearance from the back do you have? How are you planning on swapping out new bulbs, when needed? Retrofit looks good, congrats.

is overheating ever an issue with these retrofits? I thought HID ran much hotter than halogens.

How about leaking or condensation?

I've never heard of any overheating issues with HID retrofits. Seeing that most HID retrofits use OEM equipment from other vehicles, I can't see how it would be an issue.

Leaking and condensation is an issue, however. But as long as you are careful about moisture and seal up the headlights properly after the retrofit, there shouldn't be any condensation in the housing.

The d2s plugs are literally flush with the back of the headlight. I dremeled a hole in the back and made a little cover with weather stripping and a hinge. Also just washed my car so we shall see. I'm confident tho.

They're from a newer one because they had the fresnel lenses so I swapped for the clears. Made a huge difference as I tested them before and after.

But thanks for all the compliments guys... It def was hard work but I'm happy with it!

If you have the skills I highly recommend it! I can't say enough about the output of these compared to my friends factory HIDs in his 350.

Yeah, most of us had to cut open the rear. I was just wondering because you didn't mention it, I thought you found a solution without cutting the housing lol.

Yeah I wrote the quick write up on my iPhone so I didn't feel like going too much in depth. With the bulbs installed I had maybe 5-7mm clearance to fit my plug in the back of the bulb. Wasn't happening haha.

Our OEM projectors truly suck. Even on the 2011+headlights.

Yeah it's such a weird design with the side mount for the bulb. I was gonna retrofit the 2011 but i didn't want to risk messing it up.
