Default Gushing Water Sound

I recently purchased a 2008 IS250, and I notice a "water gushing" sound when I start the vehicle. The sound appears to be coming from the area below the center console. Is this normal?

I don't think it is an a/c problem, as its cold here and I haven't been running the air. And, the carpet hasn't been wet. Coul it gasoline going to the engine? It only right at startup.

2nd this repsonse! I had the same sound. It's either that or air trapped in the coolant lines. You'll just need to bleed the lines.

Exclamation waterpump

hey try to see if your waterpump is broken it may not leak and look broken right away. I had a water gushing noise and could not find the reason. i thought i had air bubles in my radiatior etc and it wasnt it and eventually it leaked after a veryyyy long time. When it leaked, it didnt even leak alot, i just got fed up one day and cheacked and saw a little water leak so then i got the problem fixed and wa la all good again.
