For reference sake, I got $750 below invoice way back in 2008 when these cars were still relatively fresh. Should be even better deals today, this late in the 2IS game.
Best way to get the price down is to email multiple dealers. Don't stick with just one because he'll get you in his "box." When you get several competing for your business, the price drops real fast.

What is everyone paying for 2012 models. I want to buy one this week and want to get the best deal possible. I have friends that bought 2010 and 2009 models but that doesnt do me any good.

I just bought (the day after xmas) a new 2011 IS350 in Matador Red with nav, premium package (heated/cooled seats), 18" wheels, spoiler, tint, f sport exhaust, and smart card key for $41,000 (the sticker was $45k before the exhaust, tint, or key upgrades). I got 2.9% APR for 6 years. I feel like I did OK.

I was working a deal for around 32k for a 2011 base 250 with no Nav or HID's.

I ended up getting my 2012 IS250 F Sport that had an MSRP of 39.283 for 33,900.. This car is amazing and by what I have seen by all your posts I got one hell of a deal!
