Anyone here make it work with a IS250 and a Newborn child?

It's how much of ease you want... you can make the IS250/350 work with a baby. My co-workers do that with a smaller car... corolla. I'm sure it can be done with a IS since it's a bit larger. My brother drives his 1 year old around in a 2005 Acura TSX which is about the same size as a 2IS.
But it's much easier if you have a roomy car like SUV.

I have an 8 month old daughter and we have one of those big Chicco stroller/car seat combos. I've always thought the trunk space was small, but when you fit the stroller into the truck you realize just how small the trunk actually is. It'll fit, but don't expect to fit anything larger than a baby bag in there with it.
With the car seat installed into the snap-in holder in the back seat, the passenger seat has to be moved up considerably for it to even fit. I have a friend who is 6' 1" and it's extremely uncomfortable for him to sit in the passenger seat whenever I have my daughter in her car seat and he always complains. So while it works, the small interior and trunk space of an IS250 will be ever so more noticeable.

No problem at all!!!
My son is 13 months now and I have no problem with stroller and baby bag. I think it depend on how you manage your baby stuff. I have no personal stuffs (like extra shoe, sport stuff ......) in my trunk cause i want to keep my car clean and organize.

It can work. I have a 10month old. And we use the Graco Travel line. The stroller is about the size of a golf bag when collapsed and the car seat is snug. If your wife is taller than 5'7 she's gonna have her knees in the dash. In case you didn't catch that, put the baby seat on the passanger side. But it can be done. My wife's P.O.S. I meant Peugeot 206 is way smaller and we all fit in ther just fine.

I have a 3 month old and a 2 year old and my 350 is fine for getting them around. Double stroller doesn't fit into the car but the single fits fine. With a rear facing car seat you do have to push the front seat up quite a bit which makes it uncomfortable for anyone over 5'9". But then we have the same problem in out minivan. Once you go front facing there is plenty of room so you just have to suck it up for the first year or so. With one kid I would have no problem with an IS as an everyday car.

It works just fine. We bought our car just before our daughter was born and now she's turning 4.
Looking back, its actually better cause the more room you have the more toys, junk, etc. you will carry around.

2 days after my son was born, I brought him and my wife home in my is250. He is now 3 yrs. old and have had no space issues what so ever. If you and your wife are each over 6' tall you may have space issues in the rear.
