I am not sure about the dealership price but if you want to DIY then this might help:

Was about $120 at my dealership (and only done there rather than DIY as I had little else to use my "free" Lexus card money on and brake fluid is kinda nasty to work with).... so 160 seems kinda high for a job that's, max, an hour of labor for em and just a few dollars in fluid.

Save 150 and diy as the bottle is only $10.

Best way to get the cheapest price if your not doing it yourself is to buy the brake fluid from the dealer than have a local mechanic/Lexus independant shop do it for you. It's not different at the dealership then it is with another experienced mechanic.

I made a $.50 brake fluid catch can. The $.50 was for the clear tubing purchased from Lowes. I used a large zip-tie container and its lid. Drilled a hole in the lid, and in goes the tubing. The key is to have the end of the tubing long enough and sitting below the fluid level...so that air doesn't get sucked back into the line.

Easiest DIY on this is like the earlier link/thread, install the catch can on the pass-side rear caliper bleeder screw and grab a partner. Using medium pressure and smooth/complete pedal compressions, pump the brake...while your partner mans the brake reservoir to insure it doesn't drop below the "LOW" mark on the reservoir. Continue until clear/fresh fluid starts to flow into the catch container. The clear tubing is key for this obviously.

Thanks for sharing -- just changed the 2IS brake fluid as part of the 30k service. Pretty standard stuff -- didn't even need to remove the tires as Rhino Ramps provided plenty of clearance

I believe it was 3/8" tubing for each of the bleed valves.

Kind of a bad idea doing brake fluid changes with the wheels on. It only takes one drop on your wheels to start eating the pain away. Do your self a favor and take the time to remove the wheels to protect your rims.

$160 is a bit overpriced, $100-120 is average.

My experience was:
Lexus dealer - 139+tax
Toyota dealer - 99+tax
My mechanic - 65
So your quote is rather high
