Question HID Kit Problems

Hi Guys I recently installed an HID Kit for the low beams (driving lights) on my 2006 IS 250. The problem im having is that the HID bulb on the passenger's side turns on for like 5 seconds then turns off. I switched pretty much all the parts to the driver's side and it worked. The only thing I havent tried is switching the ballast to that side to see if it works. w/o ruling out a bad ballast yet.....what other things can be causing this problem????

Bad ground, also check connectors for corrosion as any interruption in current causes the ballast to shut off

So I tested the ballast to see if it was the ballast or not: turns out its a faulty ballast. It makes the fuse that controls the headlight on the passengers side blow like if it was nothing. Also I had disconnected the battery from the negative terminal while I was installing the Kit and I dont know if it was that or something else, but now only 3 of my 4 windows open and close from the driver's seat. that one window that I cant control from my drivers seat is the rear passenger window. however, it does open from the actual side if there were to be someone sitting in that rear passenger side. Any suggestions???
