Default 2011 17'' non-staggered wheels on 06 350?

I have an 06 IS350 and I have a chance to buy a set of rims and tires that just came off a new IS350 AWD. They are non-staggered 17'' rims with all season tires. We dont get much snow in southern Ohio so I was planning on using these as winter wheels as oppossed to true snow tires.

Any fitment issues? I assume not since I am going to a smaller wheel???

Any other negatives?

Pros.. Cons...?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

I found multiple threads that discussed this but nobody with direct experience puting a non-staggered setup on a RWD 350.

Anyone with experience?

I use non-staggered 17" for both winter and summer rims
Both are 8x17 with 40mm offsets
Winter is 225/45 Blizzaks
Summer is 235/45 Re-11's

The only issues I have are that the speedo differences on the winter rims are noticeable, and the 235s rubbed a bit until I took a heat gun to the front plastic wheel well liner. (and I need to consider spacers on the rear to clean up the looks a bit...)

Your only concern with RWD should be rolling diameters with the different setups to keep the speedo accurate.

Check those here: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

2011 AWD rims are 17x8 all around and come with 225/40 rubber.

Fitment and rubbing are a non issue.

Be a Lexus Pioneer and be the first so when the next dummy comes along to ask this question you've already addressed it.

Otherwise if you have a chance to purchase brand new factory rims/tires for a good price, go for it.

My opinion is that you should buy these rims/tires and pay top dollar for them.

I run stock size

225/40 18's front
255/40 18's rear
in the summer

and 225/45 17's
all around in the winter

no issues, except the rear looks like it needs spacers
but as the video of the 2 cartoon characters discussing wheel fitment goes:

I don't care...
