ok iv'e had this audio equipment laying around and decided id put it to use.

still not sure wether I am going to use it or not. i don't like mixing up kenwood jl ect.

debating on all kenwood or taking out this eq and building something for the alpine era-g320

or running all jl audio- clean sweep- 700/5 -jl 13w3?
any opinions would be great on deciding audio. pioneer is my factory equipment and they make a nice deq as well.

i had two jl amps and a jl sub but the two amps need space so im selling them in the classifieds 500/1 sold already.

I'll give it to you for the install, but not a huge fan of the tiny Kenwood EQ. I think you should go with the JL set up. I'm going with the JL HD amps. Small/digital. I'm going with a 750/1, 600/4, and 12W6 from JL. Audio Control EQS and Hertz 3 way component speakers.

yeah, im leaning towards the jl setup i really like the quality. I have always used alpine up until a few years ago.

those hertz 3 ways $$ but the IS deserves a nice set of components.

main function on the eq is the ability to turn off the sub.

audio control makes a eq8 as well would there be much difference in getting that one vs the eqs? other than its pulling an 8 channel loc.

Besides the 8 channel, it's has a digital screen on it. Normally I think that's cool but it's more annoying to scroll through the screen to tune it. It also only comes in white and yellow. I'm trying to match all the components. I'm also going to use a Stinger 10 Fared hybrid cap. JL is the ONLY way to go!!

Im running a pair of JL w6s, and Focal interior speakers . a few amps, and a summing device so i can use the stock head unit.

Decision has been made. just picked up a jl700/5.
Already own the jl13w3 plans are to custom fiberglass my own 40/80 enclosure. And I have found that 3.5" speakers will fit doors so I have ordered a set of jl 6.5 components and two pairs of jl 3.5. As for a passive 3way crossover I can only get my hands on an audiophile. Should work, and the kenwood eq it's up for sale and I'll use that $$ to pickup the audio control eqs.

the molded ashtray I have picked up an iPhone4 cradle and plan on molding that in it's place.

Sounds good. JL is the only way I ever go. You'll be happy. That's good you found the 3.5" mid.
