Default Climate/Stereo Controls Are Dead

So recently I have installed a double din in my car using stock amp/system (I do not have OEM Navigation). Worked like a dream the first few weeks until a few days ago when suddenly these controls stopped working:

1. Double din (does not turn on).. no stereo.
2. Climate controls do not work (the LCD does light up though)

Airbag light comes on and stays on. Not sure if this has to do with anything, but I have found a TSB that deals with this issue.

Did some searching and most people who have been through this scenario can attribute it to a blown fuse in the passenger side fuse box. I have checked and checked again to see if any fuses have been blown. The result: None of them were blown.

I then proceed to check all other fuse boxes to see if any fuses have blown. To my surprise they were all fine.

Disconnected the battery, and still nothing. At this point I'm stumped. My car is an 06 so I no longer have warranty. Hoping some of you electrical gurus can shed some light on this issue.

From what I understood (as I've been reading up on installing an aftermarket head unit in my newly purchased '07 IS 250) isn't the climate / and stereo dependant the cd changer being connected? Did it come loose, or do you have it disconnected to support your new double din system?

Also, which double din system did you install?

Climate/stereo is dependent on the board that's attached to the stock headunit. I used a metra harness and kept that circuit board so that climate controls maintained functionality. The unit I installed is a JVC KW-NT3HD.

Is it possible the harness came loose after driving around for awhile?
