I just bought my 2007 IS350 2 or 3 weeks ago...I assume these gift cards will go to the person registered as the owner when this recall took place? When was that?
I of course don't expect to get the gift card since I didn't own the car when the issues took place, but boy it'd be nice. I really want those sway bars..

If this is the case, and people who did not buy EXTENDED WARRENTIES are getting them for free, AND getting the $500 GC, CPO and the people who paid for the warranties are assed out?

The number is 800-255-3987. I'm confused and wondering if I'm eligible to get this. Got the valve spring recall work done a couple of months back. My car is still under the basic warranty. The only way to get some questions answered is to call and that's what I'm about to do. I don't think it matters where you got your car or under what status it is with warranty. At least that's what it seems like from reading all the posts.

very interesting. I bought my car in November and the previous owner had the recall done in October. I'll have to give Lexus a call and see if I'll be getting the cash.

I called and didn't get a very straight answer. The guy I spoke to said that the team that handles this was "in a meeting" and that I would have to call back to speak to one of them for a definitive answer.
