Urgent: Advice on how to rescue my 350 that is stuck in snow...?
Hey everybody,
I would love to get some advice on how to maximize traction and drive my car out of the snow.
Yesterday, I tried to drive in ~15-20 inches of snow. I had no choice because I was at a place where I could stay and had to return home. Anyway, I was stuck in the wrong side of traffic for a few hrs and did't get to park my car until 2 nice man came to help me push my car.
As for the extraction---- What can I do?
- I have a 350 w/ stock tires.
- I was in snow mode and had traction control off.
What are some other things to maximize grip on the RWD? I was thinking off adding weight to the trunk.
I called Lexus Roadside, but they bailed on me saying that AAA was shut down for the night. I'm sure there is a backlog right now too. As far as snow extractions are concern, anyone have experience w/ what they do? Do they tow ur car out of the spot and put you on a main road? Or do they just tow you out of the spot?
Thanks!
Please advise. I'm currently getting rdy to head out.

If you have room try the traditional Rock and Roll...

I think putting weight in the trunk might get you more stuck? How about boards under the tires?

Get snow tires. My IS F has no problems going through snow with the set of Blizzaks I put on. If it snowed and had the stock tires on I'd literally leave my car where it was parked. Safer that way.
