There was a SIRIUS factory tuner for a brief period, but it was much less well integrated and wasn't around for too long given the merger.
(The XM tuner installs invisibly under a panel in the trunk and is totally plug and play including the shark fin antenna... the SIRIUS tuner installed under the passenger seat and required taking the dash apart to install).

Generally XM if using the factory option.

All 2IS are at least XM ready. (either that, or they have the tuner already in them).
Press AM-SAT a couple times...if you never get anything but AM radio then it's XM ready. If you get XM, well, then you already have it.
Install is entirely in the trunk and very easy for the OEM XM tuner.

This company carries it, and you can have someone install it right behind the radio in the dash, no bulky accessories

Agreed. Go with the OEM XM receiver and install it yourself. The install can be done well within one hour. (although it took me a bit longer because it was my first time and didn't want to break any clips, etc. )
