Default Question about 2011 Headlights

OK so I just got a 2011 with the new Bi-xenon LED headlights in them, but I noticed that the high beams look like they are halogen not xenon. I had a nissan murano that had bi-xenon and both the low beam and high beams were obviously xenon. I don't know if lexus is calling them bi-xenon because of the bright LEDs but my understanding bi-xenons are for both low and high-beams not just low. I asked the salesman and he said thats how they are supposed to be, but honestly I don't think he really knows. I did notice that when we first saw the car on the lot it just arrived of the truck and the daytime LED's were not turning on but he went into the service dept and like 2 minutes later he came back with it and it was working. Maybe something isnt properly programed I have no idea. If anybody has the answer or any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Lexus is calling them bi-xenon because the low beam projectors have a shutter in them that moves when you switch to hi-beam mode, changing their output pattern by removing the sharp cutoff of light. The separate halogen high beam lights, which were chosen so that you can have the "flash" feature without putting undue wear on the xenons, are supplemental.
