i think this requires a lengthy explanation.
according to the diagram on this page @ sewell lexus:
http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S250-2009.html
there are four sets of nuts and bolts (two on each side) of the 09+ MY grille surround that bolts the grille surround onto the bumper.
this was confirmed by the fourth picture in sb350's build thread (hard to see, but still slightly visible:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ss-thread.html
given that the front bumper for the 06-08 MY 2is is not too significantly different than the 09+ MY 2is (other than a "cosmetic" re-design), there should be space to access those four bolts/nuts from between the radiator and the front bumper without having to remove the entire front bumper assembly.
you can be lazy and HOPE you don't end up with a half-decent-looking spray job, or you can actually do it the right way (detach grille/grille surround) and end up with a much nicer spray job.
and if you don't have the tools for a DIY, either go buy some or don't do it. doing it right the first time costs much less than doing it wrong the first time and having to do it over (and over and over) again.
there are plenty of pics and other useful advice in this thread, so i'm going to leave this as is.
