Looking to Smoke out Tailights
Hey Guys,
I have a 2007 IS250 and I'm looking to smoke out my tail lights. I'm looking online and most professional shops charge like $150 just to tint the rear lights. I'm finding there are a few kits out there, I really like the kit from Rvinyl.com. You can get a custom kit already precut for the lexus for $24.99

Anyone have any experience smoking out your lights for less expensive than $150?

dude, these headlights are TOUGH to vinyl. The point at the top of the light creates such a problem for stretching it just right I wouldnt try it yourself.
I ended up using the VHT nightshades translucent paint and it looks GREAT. I did a light smoke just to take some of the red out. I even smoked over the red vinyls I had for my turn signals. It all blends perfectly.
If you arent experienced with tint I would definitely bring it to a shop. Even then they might not be able to do it. Good luck.
