Default Any ideas (misaligned steering)?

I have an 06 IS350 I kind of turned into the curb when I tried to park as close as I could to the parking lot island. ( Dont laugh, knock on wood I have not had any dents ) but I noticed after that that my car steering was cockeyed to the left and pulled to the right. I took the car to Toyota and had an alightment done. I paid for it but they never did it since my car was on speck, the left front and backs were right on center the right front was slightly off but still within spec. When I took it back and told them that even thought it maybe in spec it still pulled, etc. The advisor suggested a $500 dollar brake job saying the mechanic thought that my right front brakes were binding causing the pull. I told them I would think about it. I put the brakes my self, the wheel spins easily. I am wondering if this is something the dealership would check or fix since the alightment is in spec. Or go someplace else and get a lifetime alightment done? But why? if it is spec. Or is it something more sinister? I already had the TSB for the steering done.

If you hit the curb hard enough, you might have bent the tie rod...that is not easily seen, but you twist them to adjust the alignment, you can see if they are bent...

sticking brakes will only pull when braking, not when cruising...

Thanks for the info. I am going to try for another alighnment other than Toyo and see what they say. The tires seem be wearing out evenly so there is no rush.

Something is bent, I'd say most likely you got a ****ty alignment job done. Try a tire shop that has better staff than the dealer, they do alignment day in and day out and are more "professional" in this department.

On my GS I had the alignment done twice with a lifetime warranty from Firestone? So I figured what the heck save some money and have the alignment done at toyota where I have been getting some deals on the oil change and I was able to talk to them into giving me at least a year warranty but it does not do any good if they tell you it is not the alignment.
