For those that are SLAMMED!
Alright guys, I just got a quick question. For those that are flushed and slammed. I just picked up some wheels the other day and my front tires seem to be getting sliced by the tab that connects the bumper to the fender. How did you guys take care of this issue? I just noticed it, and it almost looks like there is a line where water is supposed to go through when it rains. I'm on megans coilovers on full stiff. My car is not even that low, my fronts dont tuck in. Are you just supposed to bend the tab? or totally remove it?
Thanks for reading.

cut the metal thats slicing your wheel (if you can't, bring it to a body shop)
or you can DIY and go nutz w/ a hammer and bang it up away from the tire.
that BOLT will also become a problem too... you can bend that UP as well, away from thet tire...
my other word of advise would be get a heat gun and go crazy w/ that fender liner and heat/melt/push away. a big rock is a good tool to push it while its hot (trust me, don't try pushing it away w/ your hand, even w/ a glove on).... get the plastic so hot that its almost melting, then push it away from the tire and with ice cold water in a spray bottle, cool it down quickly so it hardens in place
do that and you should be good

great advice guys. I also have a similar problem but i have lower offsets, +15 up front and +20 in the rear. I roller all my fenders, removed that bolt, bent the tab up, removed some fender liner, and hammered everything else in the way.
Will i be able to make this work?

1. heat plastic
2. push away from potential rub spot with (something), I used a rock
3. while holding fender plastic in place where you want it, spray with ice cold water to cool quickly and harden in place
4. enjoy not hearing your luxury sedan make embarrasing rubbing noises
