08 IS 250 engine noise
When I was looking at a 2008 IS 250 with 81K miles on it, I heard some metallic sounds coming from the engine, especially when it was cold. It sounds like a valve lifter type of an issue. Also when i opwmened the hood, I recognized the clicketing sound of the fuel pump (same as my 07 LS) so I'm wondering whether this is the fuel pump noise or if it's the engine has valve/timing chain/tensioner issues, etc...
Is this a typical IS engine sound when accelerating .The car had just left Lexus servicing at 80,000 miles (it had been serviced there every 5,000 miles) and no noise had been reported.

As for OCI, many engines make more noise as change is do and for a period of time once done.
