Default need advise on replacing tires asap?

fellow members please chime in I would like to replace my stock tires and would like to see if 235/40/18 front and 265/40/18 rear would work. stocks are 225/40/18 front and rears are 255/40/18. I want to go wider for both but do not want any rubbing on the inside and the car is lowered on eibachs. thanks for your guys help.

265/40? Thats going to be one Fat sidewall.

IMO, you would be better off with 265/35/18s in the back. Also what size is your wheel? 265s should be on 9" wide wheels

You should be ok with the fronts at 245, but the rears are little too wide at the 40 series. 35 might work in this case.

I plan to use 235/40/18 & 265/35/18 for my next set the heights will be more even than the OE size. 265/40 will be too tall

it should work, but im not fully sure. i believe it would because the OEM wheels arent flush. and if youve been browsing enough, theres a lot of people buying 10mm spacers to place on their oems wheels. so i dont see why it wouldnt work.

275/35/18 Works great. I'm using a 9.5/18 with a 40 offset.

Slightly OT but if 245s work in the front, would it be possible to just run 245s on all 4 corners (stock rims) so that the tires can be rotated? Would this have a large adverse impact on handling or only minor?
