Anyone find a good substitute? I haven’t not been able to get mine off with any belt type of wrench. I've not been able find anything with the correct flutes. Source and part number would be great if you've got them. I almost took a pipe wrench to mine last change!

I bent a cheap filter wrench the first time I removed my filter. But after I re-installed the filter hand tight, I can always remove it w/o a wrench. Just get it off once and you'll be fine. Buy a cheap-o wrench and bend it; whatever to get it off, then just reinstall it hand tight. Gotta love that o-ring!!! EVery car should have this filter type. Changing my oil has never been easier.

Pipe wrench also works, but marrs the filter cap.
