New bulb for headlight and HID system for foglight
Hey guys~!
I've got new lighting systems for my IS250.
- changed headlight bulb to 6000K (phillips)
- installed HID fog light system (6000K - phillips)
- similar color of LED bulb

as you know, it takes 20~30 secs to be totally On, I took the picture right after I turned on. That's why it looks like blueish purple, but it looks bright white after a minute.

you can get the LED's from www.v-leds.com
according to llamaboiz who has tried multiple bulbs, he suggests getting the 5 SMT white LED's to match with the stock HID or 6000k's. You can also try 9 or 11 SMT's. I have 5smt's and I'm loving it.
One question I have is do LED bulbs void warranties? I'm reading that LED's cannot be used in the same housing as the headlamps because the heat will cause damage. Of course, our cars only have the highbeams/DRL's with the LED's which you don't really use highbeams much anyway.

u can just swap them out easily and put back the stock ones. that will take care of warranty. i have 19 smt blue vleds and have no problem so far. i would of went for 27 smt but it wasn't out at the time i ordered, only color available was white for 27 so i opted for the 19 smt blue.

I just got the 6000K headlights for my is250. I want to change out the parking lights (stock yellow) to something else..... either blue or white. any one have any sugguestions?
