Default Window tinting questions...

Just had mine done the other day. How many days should I wait before I can wipe them down and get some spots off? Also, will they lighten up at all as they cure? The back window is so dark, it's really hard to make out cars in back. I need to be able to spot those Crown Vics!
Overall, turned out great and really contrasts nicely with the Glacier Frost and graphite rims. Pics coming later.

Normally its 2 days that you have to wait before you can roll down your windows. The Tint shop told me that I should just use water and not any type of window cleaner. My gf's dad used 409 on her tint and it turned purple..lol.

I got the good tint on my car, so I don't think the color should cure. Should stay as is.

The spots will probably go away once they dry.

It will fade over time.

if u have any bubbles they should go away in about a week..
the spots you can clean yourself just after 3 days grab a damp rag and wipe down.. dont use any window cleaner..and the tints arent supposed to lighten up at all if they do you got bad tints...but eventually you get used to them so yeah..but you should be ok if you got lifetime warantee like i did

If the bubbles are dark on the outside of the window then they will go away. If the are a light color then they usually are permenant bubbles. I got my tint done at the dealer and there was a very small bubble and they redid the tint for that window. If you use any metallic type tint, you may have a problem with it cutting out cell phone or gps signals. Many companies use ceramic type tint so as long as you didn't spend 100 bucks for the job you should be fine.

My tint came with a recommendation not to roll the windows down for 3-5 days or wash the film for a month. Also no abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners.

Thanks for all the replies. The bubbles went away, so that is good. But my main issue now is how dark it is looking out from inside. I mean I can't make out which cars are what behind me in the daytime. And at night, all I can see are headlights. On all the other tinting I have had done on my cars, this has never been the case. It's looked dark on the outside, and light on the inside. Are there certain brands or films that can caused this? Could the guy have screwed up with the installation? I am weighing more on taking it back and having it redone, but I want to avoid starting a mess if I can. Plus I like the dark look on the outside and want to keep that aspect of it.
I am on day #3 now and am stumped.
