Fabulous Kit & Black Vinyl Roof Installed!
Just got my Fab rear canards installed and black vinyl roof top done at Promax in Alhambra on Saturday. I installed the front lip by myself but not brave enough to drill holes on my rear bumper so I let Promax do it. I still have to align the front lip a little better with the edge of the bumper, I was in a hurry to finish installing it since it was getting dark.
Thanks John @ Promax for doing such a great job on the vinyl and lending me a car to go somewhere during the 5 hours he had my car, I'm very pleased with the result. I also got the roof moulding done at the same time (some ppl prefer not to), all for $90 ($80 w/o moulding) including a pair of brake decals for free! This gotta be one of my favorite mods under $200 which really made a huge difference to the appearance! I know some ppl might not like this mod and think it's ricey, but I also like the fact that it protects my roof from sun/rain damage, and it can be easily removed.
Here are some pictures that I took after attending Street Machine Battle in Torrance today, let me know what you guys think! BTW I raised my car back up for less than an inch, doesn't look as aggressive but feeling a lot secured driving on the street.
Feel free to ask any questions if are interested in the same mods!! Hope I can be some help.

I have to say that just reading the title and your story, I was a bit skeptical... imagining a '70s style vinyl roof, complete with chrome trim, but that looks really classy! It works well with your tint, and the color of the car.

I went to Pep Boys and got a pack of those body clips ($2.50 for a pack of 4), they're black and plastic which are being used for clipping interior carpets or something, cut the unnecessary length and use factory touch up paint to paint the top part, then it's dry just push it in the screw hole on your bumper. If you want I can tell you which one I used, it's really easy.
