Default Oil filters

Question for you DIYers out there: where do you get replacement oil filters for your IS350 and how much are you paying? Any difference between store bought STP filters and Toyota filters?

I got mine from McGrath Lexus as they are close to me. It wasn't that much and I would use the OEM! Its not worth the 1$ or 2$ you may save.

+1: I would recommend OEM especially for the canister filter. Not that expensive at all and you have the piece of mind. It will be less susceptible to problems like a bad o-ring gasket or design flaw.

I got mines for about 9 bucks in my local dealer. The good thing about it, is that they also include the canister rubber and oil plug gasket. Not sure if you buy the aftermarket ones do they only give you the filter element.

I get mine from my local dealer. $5.41 for the OEM element and gasket, and they throw in the drain bolt washer for free.

I use OEM as much as i can, you can get it at a toyota dealer if you have the part number. If you get aftermarket i would suggest getting bosch. Very high-end filter!
