Thanks Passnu, that is exactly what mine is doing. When closing the cup holder, it seems to go down too far and I have to help it back up.

I don't see it getting stuck or rubbing/sticking to each other. at first, I was running into an issue with the top portion of the shifter console not laying flat or flush, but after removing one of the silver trim piece, it allowed the top part I mention to sit flush now.

so if anyone can chime in about the cupholder, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
Cupholder is working perfectly for me. Even with frosty temperatures now, no issues due to material shrinking/expanding.

I'll contribute my pics of the high quality Carson CF kit (black), which they no longer stock. I've seen some on eBay which look like the same kit. Get 'em while you can.

when I saw your IS with the Momo evo shift **** I went on line and bought one to but in carbon fiber, and I have to say it look good.

Is that Carson kit still available anywhere? I can only find it on eBay...but I need a kit without the heated seat option. Was this ever available?

cut out plexiglass and put black vinyl under it so it'll look like the P R N D like shown in this picture
