For those of you this is happening to - do you regularly use automatic carwashes? If so, do you use regular car washes, or brushless?
Mine are perfect and my car is 1.5 years old, so I'm just looking for cause.

Sometimes manufacturers just get a bad batch of rubber from suppliers and sometimes the speced part is not durable enough. If this is really widespread then it is likely the latter.

I finally got this service done. They replaced the molding under warranty, but after that I had an annoying whistle sound at speeds over 50mph. I took it back and they replace it again and the whistle is gone.

had mine fixed under warranty awhile back. looks like new again! the dealer had not seen anything like it before. i have never used an automatic car wash either. i am sure the fl sun did not help though.
