Any regrets getting IS 250 instead of IS 350 or vice versa?

No regret here. The extra 100+ HP is useless where I live. I always see 350s behind me and can't catch up- along fwy 91 on rush hr commute.

lol.. how do you know 350s are trying to catch up to you? or even know if they're 350 if you're all the way ahead?

Brakes. U can tell by our brakes. BTW, it was a joke. READ - rush hour traffic. u guys are too serious (or too biased) . who cares reallly. Ur happy with your ride, Im happy for you. Im happy with my ride, be happy for me. After all we're all IS owners and should be proud and happy owners. My 2 cents.

what do you mean trying to catch up to you.... lmao in a street race they'd leave the is250 in the dust... i doubt they are trying to catch up to you... haha... thats like saying oh the ferrari in my rear view mirror me was trying to catch up to me... but its extra 200 horsepower doesnt do **** ofcourse it would utterly blow the is350 away but i doubt its trying to catch up... dude if you want to really compare go to a track...

Not trying to defend or argue but please read post completely before flaming. RUSH HOUR COMMUTE= NOT MOVING=/or slow moving SIDE BY SIDE =/OR BUMPER TO BUMPER. Some ppl read and try to digest the message but some just react. Question asked and answered.

I regret that the IS350 is just a RWD IS250 with a bigger engine. Lexus didn't put any effort in making the IS350 a better overall sports sedan. They could've at least included a better suspension standard to go with the extra power. I also needed AWD and the IS350 didn't offer it. At least the Lexus put some effort into the IS-F.

Wow somebody needs to RELAX! In bumper to bumper rush hour traffic, my 200hp engine is just as useless as a Viper's 500+hp engine. That's all he was saying. No need to go bonkers.

overall, im extremely grateful to be driving an awd is250. being 20 years old, i feel spoiled enough. its worth taking out a chunk of my paycheck every month to enjoy driving around (rents helped with down payment).

my morning commute to work often involves heavy traffic, so power is not an issue. during the evening i tend to speed, but i dont need the added 100hp because it would only tempt me to go even faster than i do.

awd is also a plus in the rainy northwest. unfortunately now people are gonna expect me to drive up to the passes more often, but ill let em know there isnt enough cabin space for the skis/boards
