Wink IS Coupe...its coming...






Word is what is taking so long was the internal debate over a full convertible or try to make the targa/convert...

Seems the latter group won so the IS coupe will come, MY 2009 with this trick feature!!

Expect different sheetmetal from the sedan, sharing minimal parts like sideview mirrors, maybe lights. Interior will be the same as the IS sedan.

Hmm...aren't those pictures of the LF-A concept?

Anyways, if what you say is true, it's a shame that Lexus didn't go through with the IS 500 concept.

She was a looker...

The pictures are there to give you an idea of the trick roof. The car will not look like that.

Those are very old pictures. It's pictures of the Lexus LF-C debuted in 2004.

That is the concept of the next generation SC, not an IS Coupe.

Yeah, that's what it looks like to me as well.

At any rate IF this is what the coupe will look like and IF they put the 5.0 V8 in it without destroying the look of the car like they did with the IS-F than I may have found my next vehicle purchase.

Targa/convertible is the way to go but I am more interested in whether they will add more hp over the current IS350 sedan ...
