I'm running Castrol 5-30 right now thats because my car only has 800 miles on the odo.
Once my car hits 10-25k miles then I will switch to full synthetic either Mobil 1 or Castrol Synthetic.

5W-20 Mobil 1 in the IS and the Scion. Supra gets 10W-30 Red Line exclusively.

If you change your oil often enough, I've found there really isn't any need to go synthetic. I ran normal dino oil in my S2000 for years and never had any problems. Plus unless you are going to track the car, the oil will never be really abused to the point where the synthetic protection would be worthwhile.

That's because the recommendation was changed after your car was manufactured. See Lexus TSB EG006-06. 5W-20 is now factory fill and recommended for best fuel economy and cold starting performance. 5W-30 is also a perfectly acceptable oil, and it's what many dealers are still using.
