Thumbs up Interesting find, DVD-Audio lovers need to read this

I know a while back someone made a thread complaining about the stock HU doesn't have volume memory for each audio mode. The person was listening to DVD-A and had to crank the volume up and when he switched back to FM, BAM it's LOUDDDDD.

What I found today is that if you have a 3.5 stereo jack plug into the AUX input, the HU will remember the volume on each audio mode. I have mines plugged for the IPOD but you can also trick the HU by plug in any 3.5 jack. This way, the HU will remember the volume you previously had on each of the audio mode, FM/AM/CD ect....

Nice, that is a great find, I have to try that out!
I wonder if this is why, in past threads on this topic, some people's system remembers the volume flipping thru the audio modes while other's (like mine) do not? I never use that AUX input.
