I have this vibration that I feel when I come to a stop in my IS, it has been around since I have had it and the dealer says it is normal, but of course I don't believe them.

It happens right when I come to a stop, I feel the car shake a little like the engine is trying not to stall, its reall brief and I notice the RPM's drop to like 500 then back up to 600 where it stays. It is always bothering me and anyone else have this issue?

500-600 RPM is normal. It won't stall anywhere near those levels, they are normal idle RPMs.

I don't either. Then again, mine has a manual transmission.

initial thought when i read the topic was rotors are warped cause its happened before with lexus rotors but...as i read more about rpms dropping thats totally something else =( couldnt tell ya

Take it back to Lexus, They can adjust the idle "electronically" to 750 RPM if your more comfortable with it there.

i've never have that issue (unless i haven't noticed it or if i'm used to it). i'll see if i notice anything today.

i'd probably just do what Tammy listed above if it continues to bother you
