Navigation tint issue

I've read people posting regarding this issue pretty much universally across the different model forums, and there are dozens of links... New member joins, "I've got a problem with my navigation" "My car doesn't seem to know where I am", etc.
You're right I don't have a 2IS (I've got a GS and LS), but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express (OK, it was really a Hilton) last night. The nav antenna is located in many different places on many different models and there is a universal theme I've gathered after years of reading in these forums... metallic tint = navigation issues for some.
Proceed at your own risk, I would not personally do it if it were my own 2IS, even if no one else had reported the issue yet on the 2IS forum. I think the signal strength (impacted by location, weather, etc) may also make the problem intermittent at times from what I've read, so it may seem to come and go.

Got my windows tinted at Song's Tinting Masters today instead of Best Tint of Tustin. Got madico onyx!
Apparently they will do your front wind shield as well, did it on my friend's TL and it looks quite nice.
