Gas Cover Rattles from subs
I have two Kicker S10L7's sitting in the back....and the bass is rediculous. My only problem is my gas cover on the left side rattles all the time and you can hear it rattle. If I apply pressure with my hand to it...it stops making noise. Anyone have an idea as to what I should do? I thought maybe rubber or something might do the trick.

Holy he11! I have 1 Kicker S12L7 and the bass is insane. I can't imagine how it would sound with 2 S10L7's.
To your question though. I had the same fuel lid rattle and I would press against it and it would stop. Initially, before I could get it in the audio shop, I threw a sock in there and it alleviated the problem. Then I took it to the shop and they cut a piece of rubber and dynamat to match the contours of the fuel lid, installed it, and problem solved. Once you get rid of the trunk lid rattle however, you will notice the quarter panel rattle. I had 2 dynamat trunk kits installed and my trunk still rattles. Mainly the rear bumper because dynamat can't be installed in the bumper due to the heat shield on the exhaust. But you can at least get rid of the fuel lid rattle, which seemed to be more annoying than the bumper and quater panel rattle. Hope this helps.
What amp are you running to those 2 10's by the way. I'm running the KICKER ZX750.1 MONO AMP which is 1000 watt max/750 rms. This sub can still take some more power. Kicker subs are definitely made for a ton of bass. I'm looking to get a bigger amp.
