Default CD & Track names not displayed

Hi guys, new to the forum and it's been a lot of help. Just picked up my 250 awd last week and I have a question that i can't find the answer to in the forums, the manual, or even trying lexus email (they answered for the wrong audio (no Nav) even though i specified nav ).

Anyway, I have the Nav, but not ML audio. When I play a cd, the cd name, track names, etc are all blank. This is a store-bought cd, not one i've burned with mp3's etc. I tried several cd's thinking it might be the disc. Should it be displaying that info? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have some store bought CDs that do not display the CD name, track titles, etc. It's a bit random, as some of my older CDs show it, and some newer ones don't. I haven't figured out how to enable all the info to show on the Nav screen (and by the way, I have ML).

Welcome to the Club! I hope you find some answers in our Forums.

some cd's don't carry the info--just play the cd on your pc and see if the info pops up (without getting the media info from internet, of course).

Some CDs have the CDText stuff in there, some don't. Want to make sure they have it? Do it yourself.
