Car Bra Now Avail for the IS250/350
For those interested, Colgan Custom has just released their car bra. It can be found at:
http://colgancustom.com/shop_vmake.php
I have used a car bra on a couple of my cars without an problems with fading paint. The secret is to take the bra off each time when washing the car and applying a double-coat of good wax (Zaino or McGuiar's).

Bummer though, it's a one piece... I'm constantly under the hood. Having to remove it all the time would be a pain.

A clear bra is about $500, and can tear or rip or peel, and fade/discolor in time, with less protection than vinyl.
There are pros and cons to both, and it really depends on what type of protection and aesthetics you want.

If you want your IS to look like a 1980s Camaro. I think it's pretty class-less. You wouldn't see one on a Benz or new BWM.
