CD output on ML
ANyone notice that the output (e.g volume) level in CD mode is less that in oather modes, like FM? Listening to a CD at a moderatly high level and then switching results in the FM sound being much higher than the CD I suspect it is that the record level on the CD is just lower.

On my car, when you switch from one mode to another, the volume level returns to whatever you had it set at the last time you used that mode. (E.g., if I listen to FM at 35, then switch to CD and listen at 30, then switch back to FM, FM will come on at 35). Are you sure it's not just that you had FM set at a higher volume level than you are listening to CD on?
More often than not, the CD player has the loudest volume output of any source in a given audio system, unless the particular CD happens to be recorded at a low volume level.
