Guys, I have run into the same problems with my Voice Command...I have found that it works much better if you try to speak naturally and not annunciate your words...You probably arent thinking about it too much, but when you ask for a command you try to clearly verbalize the words you are saying, but in reality the Lexus system use natural speech. In other words if you clearly say 78 degrees, the system not only listens for words but the point in speaking your say differently and emphasize. So say 78 degrees naturally like u were talking to somebody in the car...
I also found saying "raise temperature or lower temperature" works much much better then "cooler or warmer". Maybe it may be someones accent, not to offend anyone but if your speaking like your talking to your "hommies" and "like yo yo"..trust me the system is NEVER going to understand you.
I have a 90% success rate with my system ( even with windows down ), just remember to talk to the car like like you are talking to someone sitting in the passenger seat ( minus any "street slang talk" ).
You'll be surprised to see how well the system actually works...

Very helpful thread! I have an 07 ES350, and I have two phones hooked up through bluetooth that I can't change while the car is moving, and having to go from one phone to another to change the settings defeats the purpose. Does anyone know what voice command changes bluetooth devices?
