The winter floor mats are more for snow weather. They are designed to collect water.
IMO, the clear mats looks better. The clear mats are flat, so any large amount of water will flow to the edges. From my experience, rainy seasons are no problem.
The clear mats are about 50% transparant so your Lexus carpet will show through. My car's interior is also black. It looks very nice and keeps my carpet clean. It also helps when it is time to vacuum. I only need to vacuum the edges of the carpet.
As the picture in my previous post shows, the clear mat goes on top of your OEM Lexus carpet.
From now on, the clear floor mats are a must have for any of my future cars.
I am very happy with them. I am a clean freak. After three years of ownership, people still comment that my car interior looks like brand new.

I have it on my ES. It looks very nice and fit perfectly. I got mine from the Lexus dealer for $80. This website also has it for the same price.

These clear mats are a great idea, here they are at Sewell parts, although it does not state for which model they are for.

You look far more comfortable in the front seat than in the back.

I suggest the OEM Lexus All Weathermats..especially where you live. Clear plastic floor covers like Clearmats and such don't trap or hold in the dirt or moisture. You'll just have dirt and stains collecting on the sides of the carpeting and floormats you're trying to protect. Not a good idea if you want to keep the area clean. Great pics btw!
