Its getting colder outside, and im starting to use the heat in my 06 IS. I was wondering, does anyone else see a significant change in gas mileage when using their heat? My tank average was sitting at 25.0 regularly, and now its around 23.5 with no real change in how I drive. Is this common?
yeah in the winter the fuel blend is different. thats why youll sometimes hear folks refer to it as "summer gas" and "winter gas". i dont think that should really really affect mileage, not in a major way at least
