DAMN!!! Hope everyone inside the car made it out okay.

For a 70mph impact, the car took the damage pretty well.

I'm guessing its your car?

EDIT: Was the car parked when it was hit?? I don't see any airbags!

I feel your pain. Curious if the person who hit the IS was texting while driving. Glad that you're ok.

The unibody did its job, and well might I add. The cabin area is pretty much intact. Only that slight wrinkle in the drivers side C-pillar shows any "problematic" area for the cabin's overall safety.

And I have to agree with KillaIS250, I'm guessing either the car was parked and turned off OR there was no front passengar and the driver's airbag was removed?

Tell us more! Hope everyone is alive!

BTW, purchase it back from insurance and sell it for parts!

Is it your car? I don't think airbags deploy on rear collisions because you're being push against the seats not forward.

My deepest condolences.

Two things :

1) What, if anything, can Club Lexus do for you/her family right now? Anything at all?
2) I hate to ask, but was her death ultimately caused by the lack of airbags deploying in the Lexus? Or has that info been brought to your attention?
