Default Front bumper sensor question *plugins*

Can someone verify If this is for the front bumper sensor on my 07 bumper?

When I bought the bumper the guy said this doesn't come with bumper sensors and I can buy it on ebay. I got 2 holes on the front of my bumper.

Do I just slip them in? Is it that easy? OR do I need to remove the bumper to install these?

These look just like the ones I saw on my bumper.

Did your new bumper come with the clamps that hold them in place? You have to slip the sensor in at a 45 degree angle and then rotate until is sits flush. After that, you just slide the clamp on from behind. I'm not sure if all the sensors are the same though.

Crap, I dont know If i have any clamps, I dont think I do. I just see 2 holes on the front bumper. I thought It was just plug and play.. didn't know I needed clamps. Where do i buy those? So to slide clamp on from behind , I gotta remove the bumper??

Yup, it can only be done from the back side of the bumper. Is your bumper painted already? Since it sounds like your car didn't come with the sensors, it might be better to get those holes filled vs. buying 2 sensors(if your bumper isn't painted yet).

Well I had to replace the bumper, cause of a hit and run, The guy who sold it to me said that the bumper didn't come with sensors x2. Can body shops paint in the holes?? Is that an easy task for them If i just decide to get the whole bumper repainted?

If you're going to have it repainted, it shouldn't cost that much more to fill them in. If the bumper already matches the car and it's in good shape, maybe you can find something to plug in those holes?

I little fiberglass on back, a little flexi-filler in the front, sand, primer, paint/clear...done! If I had my choice I'd not have the sensors...cleaner look.
