Hi All,

Quick one.

Will an auto gearbox from a 2003 GS300 fit an 2003 IS300?

Alternatively is there anyone i can call to check this out?

Yes and no. Physically the transmission will fit. They're both a650e transmissions (as long as the trans is from a gs300 with vvti engine the older model used a 4 speed trans).

The difference is the tail shaft of the gs trans. It uses a 3 bolt flange with rubber flex plate. The is uses a slip yoke.

If you need an is trans look on craigs list they go for cheap.
