New member from texas
Greetings all.
I've been a long time member but no longer have access to my old registered email account, which brings me here.
New member same car. 2001 Lexus is300. It's stock other than 2008 is 250 18" wheels. I'm loving the car, despite that pesky cam gear leak, track like front tire wear and the typical front suspension problems these are prone to.
The girlfriend has a heavily modified 2011 is 250, as mine remains unmolested. Reason being, I was mainly a honda boy but have slowly drifted away to lexus.
future mod list:
-fixing the cam gear leak (vvti gear) or replacing the entire assembly.
-doing a timing belt full package (appears to have been done, but need a base mileage to sleep better at night)
-coilovers
Those are my main concerns/goals for the moment.
The love for speed is still there but might reserve that for another project or going big! lol.
Well, I hope to grow with this site as I've done with other forums and gain some knowledge on these wonderful vehicles......
*side note* coming from honda/ACURA...I was blown away when I found out camber could be adjusted on my vehicle! This was all new and sure am ready to learn more about the infamous 2jz...
